JOB TITLE: Computer Systems Analyst
JOB LOCATION: Pharr, TX
JOB DUTIES: Analyze business data and data processing problems, to implement and improve computer system. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, work flow, and scheduling limitations. Analyze, automate, design, implement and program employer’s operation systems for Dispatch. Verify, modify and document current mapping process to make sure integrity and punctual deliveries for employer’s clients. Analyze, design, modify and automate dispatch systems for the operation (McLeod and ShipXpress) for loading and unloading of the different products with the employer’s clients for three locations (Pharr, Dilley and Kennedy, TX). Monitor the standardization of computer hardware, software and configurations across all employer’s locations. Use knowledge of certification in McLeod as a Key User to manage these complex projects, acting as a liaison with the employer’s different software providers. Use the GPS system (PeopleNet), in which the log of each driver is managed ensuring the correct operation is taken to be in compliance with DPS and DOT. Implement cost reduction and cost avoidance programs for employer profitability.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Associates of Computer Science, plus 36 months of experience in positions in the transportation industry with similar job duties.
